A Feast in Time of Plague is an international online project that brought together artists from Germany, Italy, France, and Russia during the first wave of COVID-19. Opera singers, deprived of the opportunity to perform on stages due to theater closures and cancellations of festivals, came together to create an online performance, and the funds raised were donated to relief funds for freelance artists who were left without means of livelihood.

A Feast in Time of Plague was a pilot project of the International Digital Opera Lab, a cultural and educational program aimed at exploring and promoting the new genre. The online performance won the Onegin National Opera Award and received numerous positive reviews from audiences and the professional community.
